YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

Consumers residing in California have certain rights with respect to their personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act or (“CCPA”) (California Civil Code Section 1798.100 et seq.). If you are a California resident, this section applies to you.

Additional Disclosures Related to the Collection, Use, Disclosure and Sale of Personal Information

Collection and Use of Personal Information: In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers, categories of personal financial information described in subdivision (e) of Section 1798.80, and commercial information. More specifically, we collect information you provide which may occur when you visit our website or when you apply for a loan with us which can include, without limitation, your name, contact information such as email address and phone number, username, password, income and financial information, social security number, and other application/registration information. We collect such information from you and from third party service providers for the business and commercial purpose of  performing services on behalf of the business or service provider, including maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, processing or fulfilling orders and transactions, verifying customer information, processing payments, providing financing, providing advertising or marketing services (including, but not limited to, counting ad impressions to unique visitors, verifying positioning and quality of ad impressions), providing analytic services, or providing similar services on behalf of the business or service provider, audits related to a current interaction with the consumer and concurrent transactions, and auditing compliance with this specification and other standards, security incidents/debugging error detection and repair, internal research for technological development, and activities to verify or maintain or upgrade/improve/enhance the quality or safety of a service or device. We also use personal information in order to complete transactions with you, detect security incidents, and comply with legal obligations.

Disclosure of Personal Information: We may share your personal information:

  • with third parties and service providers that provide services to us in connection with our business operations and that have agreed to keep the information confidential;

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or other legal process, or to comply with government reporting obligations;

  • when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary (a) to protect our rights, the integrity of the online services or our business, or your safety or the safety of others, or (b) to detect, prevent, or respond to fraud, intellectual property infringement, violations of our Terms of Use, violations of law, or other misuse of the online services; and

  • to service providers, advisors, potential transactional partners, or other third parties in connection with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a corporate transaction in which we are acquired by or merged with another company or if we sell, liquidate, or transfer all or a portion of our assets.

In addition, we may share de-identified or aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns, as well as de-identified or aggregate information, with third parties and service providers.

Your Consumer Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to (1) request more information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, sold, and disclosed for a business purpose in the last 12 months, (2) request deletion of your personal information, (3) opt out of the sale of your personal information, if applicable, and (4) be free from discrimination for exercising your rights under the CCPA.
